Menara Condong (Leaning Tower) of Teluk Intan has always being compared to its more famous and older step-cousin, the Leaning Tower of Pisa (Italy). This popular landmark of Teluk Intan district has the height of 25.5m and this pagoda-like structure was built in 1885. A local tourist spot if one looking for a good place to eat ikan bakar (grilled fish) by the sea. This is my wife's hometown, Papar. Most of the villagers are born fisherman while others work in the city of Kota Kinabalu, an hour journey from the village.
